BATIK SHTIFT developed by Sergei Davydov makes it possible to create many designs of any level of complexity using melted wax. A special tip with a needle valve prevents wax dripping and allows you to stop / start painting as needed. The electrically heated wax pot with a built-in filter controls the temperature during the painting process. The included application tip #1 allows painting of lines 1mm thin. The Batik shtift works only with the (0-30V) transformer, which allows you to maintain the required wax temperature. The reliable design of the unit makes it possible to operate it for 10-12 hours per day.

Operating Instructions:

1.Place pieces of wax into the wax pot through the aperture. 2.Plug the transformer into a 220 V socket. 3.Switch the voltage regulator to 30 V. 4.Wax melting time is 5-8 minutes. 5.Switch the voltage regulator to the working setting (15 V). 6.If necessary, it's possible to change the wax temperature during the painting process by turning the transformer's voltage regulator to 17,5 V or more or to 12,5 or less. 7.When the application tip touches a fabric, a needle valve opens and melted wax is uniformly spread on the fabric. When the tip doesn't touch the fabric, the wax flow is stoped. 8.Unplug the transformer after the work is done.

This product comes with a one-year warranty.

THERMOSTATICALLY CONTROLLED BATIK MODULE developed by Sergei Davydov allows you to use different techniques and create assorted effects with melted wax: crackles, little dotty patterns, various lines and textured backgrounds, etc.

The two removable tip diameters (0.7mm and 1mm) make it possible to produce lines of various thicknesses and volume while the thermostatically controlled wax pot maintains the correct wax temperature for the duration of painting.

The batik module works only with a 0-30V transformer, which allows you to maintain the required wax temperature. The reliable design of the module makes it possible to operate it for 10-12 hrs per day.

Operating Instructions:

1.Plug the transformer into the 220V socket. 2.Unscrew the module's tip. 3.Place some wax into the wax pot and screw the tip back on its place. 4.Switch the voltage regulator to 30V. 5 Wax melting time is 5-8 minutes. 6.Switch the voltage regulator to the working setting (15V). It's possible to change the wax temperature during the painting process (if nesessary) by turning the transformer's voltage regulator to 17,5V or more or to 12,5 V or less. 7.Bring the Batik module close to a fabric stretched over a frame, with the spout facing down, and start painting. The melted wax will properly run out of the spout. In order to stop the flow it is neсessary to turn the tool up into vertical position. 8. When a more thick line is to be drawn turn the tool round (180) to bring another tip to a working position. 9.Unplug the transformer after the work is done.

The set comes with a one-year warranty.

TRANSFORMER has a voltage regulator (0-30V) that allows you to set required wax temperature. Transformer's design makes it possible to operate it for 10-12 hrs per day and to plug in two tools at the same time, the batik shtift and thermostatically controlled batik module.

The set comes with a one-year warranty.
